To me, DEI principles and concepts are a representation of hope for a future with equity across the board.  I firmly believe in fostering an environment of communication, inclusivity, accommodation, and understanding of not just an individual, but the individual.

In a world that’s shaped by mere seconds of time passing by and many other external factors, so is the individual shaped from their experiences with the world.  Understanding different perspectives and experiences while encouraging appreciation for them can better, not only the workplace, but the people that gain that understanding.

I’m honored to be part of Brown Edwards’ DEI Committee and the initiatives of change for a better company in which no voice is silenced, no vision is blinded, and no future is dimmed.
