Megan Meador, CPA
Megan is a Partner with over 15 years of experience in both public accounting and the private sector with both public and private companies. Megan worked with a national top 5 firm, providing assurance services primarily with institutions regulated by the SEC, as well as other local manufacturing and benefit plan clients. In addition, Megan has also previously worked for a publicly-traded coal company in various accounting and reporting roles. At Brown Edwards, her focus is primarily on A&A within the sectors of energy, mining, and manufacturing. She also has performed various consulting engagements for new entities, including opening balance sheet compilations for newly acquired and formed companies.ncil

Melissa Stanley, CPA
Melissa is an assurance partner in the Roanoke office and has over 25 years of accounting experience. Prior to joining Brown Edwards, Melissa was a partner in one of the top 20 firms in the nation where her practice concentrations were in not-for-profit organizations, employee benefit plan audits, and a variety of closely-held businesses, including manufacturers, real estate holding companies, manufacturers, distributors and service organizations.
Melissa is the co-niche leader of the K-12 and Not-for-Profit Niches at Brown Edwards. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Lynchburg College. She is a licensed CPA in the Virginia Commonwealth and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Virginia Society of CPAs, and is part of the Feeding Southwest Virginia Board of Directors.
