I believe the DEI concept is important for the firm because it shows the firm cares about everyone regardless of their race, gender, sexuality, or beliefs. It is also a good way to help individuals be more aware of the different cultures and issues still occurring in the United States.
Being a part of Brown Edward’s DEI committee is important to me because I have experienced unpleasing situations at past employers and it is comforting to know that I work at a firm that is aware of the issues and trying to do something about it.
