In the past decade, credit unions have been required to manage greater risk and compliance concerns, all while working to serve their membership and constituents. Brown Edwards’ credit union accounting services can support your organization, improve your efficiency, and allow you to focus on your core mission.
Our expertise in credit union accounting and other not for-profit accounting comes from an experienced and committed team of professionals. We employ a former Virginia Credit Union League auditor and our specialized staff includes CISAs (Certified Information System Auditor) and CFEs (Certified Fraud Examiner). Additionally, our work is reviewed in-house to ensure that you receive a top-quality audit.
Brown Edwards’ strength is performing audits efficiently with minimal disruption to credit union operations and delivering our services and reports in a timely manner. We typically meet with your supervisory committee and / or board on the last day of our fieldwork to present a preliminary draft of our reports. Our recommendations reflect our extensive and practical understanding of your credit union’s daily operations.
